This course aims to give students an understanding of the management of information systems and their use in organizations. An information system in this course is viewed as a social system operating within the social, cultural, economic and political contexts of organizations rather than purely a technical system. The course provides a diversity of technological, managerial and organizational knowledge required for a business manager to lead, succeed, and optimize performance for today’s technology-rich organizations.
